Secure Your Account With 2FA

Understanding Two-factor Authentication!

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Zignaly account by requiring a second verification step beyond your password. Enabling 2FA protects against phishing, hacking, and identity theft, making unauthorized access much harder.

Steps to Enable 2FA

  1. Go to your Settings tab and select Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

  2. Download Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.

  3. Scan the QR code provided by Zignaly using the app.

  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app and click Enable 2FA.

Lost Access to Your 2FA?

If you lose access to your 2FA, contact Zignaly Support and prepare the following:

  1. A clear photo of yourself holding the ID used for verification (KYC) and a handwritten note with "Zignaly" and today's date (YYYY/MM/DD).

  2. A separate picture of your ID, as clear as possible.

  3. Account details, such as:

    • Deposit and withdrawal history

    • Data from services used

    • References to previous support conversations (from the Intercom chatbox)

    • Screenshots of emails received from Zignaly

Hacked Account

If you suspect that your account credentials (email or password) have been compromised, please contact Zignaly Support directly via the support widget on the official Zignaly website.

The recovery process is very similar to resetting your 2FA. You will need to provide identification documents for KYC verification. These must match the documents originally used during your Zignaly KYC.

Additionally, you will be required to provide a new email address for account recovery.

During the entire recovery process, all withdrawals will be frozen to protect your funds until the KYC verification and cooldown period are fully completed.

If you still have access to your account and suspect a possible breach, immediately change your password and enable 2FA if it is not already active.

Have I Been Pwned?

You can use this extra tool, Have I Been Pwned, to quickly check if your email address has been involved in any known data breaches. This tool helps you identify if your account credentials might have been compromised elsewhere, allowing you to take timely action to secure your accounts.

Providing accurate information will help speed up the recovery process. Stay proactive and keep your account secure with 2FA!
