What is a service profile chart?

It's a chart reflecting critical information to comprehend the trader's performance. You can choose from five different timeframes to see the information. The vertical labels represent the values, and the horizontal bar presents the timeline.

Tracking features

  • PnL% compound: It is the accumulated pnl over time. It includes the unrealized pnl as well.

  • Daily PNL: It's profit and loss from the service's balance for the selected period. It also includes the unrealized pnl for that day.

  • Total Balance: You can see the total amount of money in the service. It is the amount of money the trader uses

  • N.of investors: This is the change in the number of investors over the specified period.

PNL in a Service Profile

My PNL% Compound is + 62.36% over three months, but my daily PNL is -2.86k. How is this even possible?

It is because the PNL% compound is the sum of the daily pnl percentage. As a result, if the service started with $100 and earned $100 on day one, the profit would be 100%. On day 2, the pool had $5000 and had a -40% loss of $2000.

The total PNL% calculated would be 100% + (-40%). It is +60%.

Meanwhile, the calculation for the Daily PNL is $100 + (-$2000)= - $1900.

We should see the Total balance increase while the trader loses money.

Note:

The numbers can be the opposite when the trader makes a significant loss with low allocation. The percentage PNL may remain negative for a while due to this calculation.
