ZIGChain FAQ

The ZIGChain mainnet is live!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here: ZIGChain, the wealth generation blockchain, is officially live. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about ZIGChain, how it relates to Zignaly, and what you can do with your tokens.

For more official information, visit the ZIGChain website: https://zigchain.com

Are Zignaly and ZIGChain the same?

No. Zignaly and ZIGChain are related but distinct:

  • Zignaly is a profit-sharing service platform and a protocol integrated into ZIGChain.

  • ZIGChain is a Layer 1 (L1) blockchain designed for wealth generation, allowing multiple protocols to be built on top.

What is ZIG?

ZIG is the official coin and governance token of the ZIGChain blockchain. It is the backbone of the blockchain economy, used for:

  • Paying blockchain fees

  • Staking to validators

  • Participating in governance proposals

You can learn more about ZIG here:

With the mainnet live, your ZIG tokens have real utility:

  • Stake with validators to earn rewards and support network security (ZIGChain Hub Validators)

  • Participate in governance by voting on proposals (ZIGChain Hub Proposals)

  • Use decentralized applications (dApps) built on ZIGChain to enhance your wealth generation journey

I held ZIG on other chains. How do I migrate to ZIGChain?

If you held ZIG on other blockchains (e.g., Ethereum or BSC) before the mainnet launch, you will need to manually bridge your tokens to ZIGChain. The bridge is not automatically performed.

Step-by-step instructions are available here: Bridges on ZIGChain Hub

Do I Need to Bridge to Mainnet and Keep Staking?

No, you are not forced to bridge to mainnet or continue staking.

You can continue to hold your ZIG tokens on Ethereum (ETH) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The token will not be discontinued on those networks, and liquidity will remain available. This means you can still hold, swap, and trade ZIG on ETH and BSC.

However, if you participated in the pre-mainnet staking program and you don't perform the bridging, you will forfeit your rewards.

Benefits of Bridging to Mainnet

While not mandatory, bridging your tokens to ZigChain allows you to fully access the ecosystem, including:

  • Staking into validators

  • Participating in governance

  • Using ZigChain dApps such as Valdora, Oroswap, Memes.fun, and more coming soon

  • Receiving your rewards from the previous staking program from ETH and BSC

I had ZIG staked in the previous staking program. When and how will I receive rewards?

After the mainnet launch, rewards from the previous off-chain staking program will be distributed to your new ZIGChain wallet.

Important: If you haven’t performed the bridge yet, your rewards will not be received. Please follow the migration instructions to ensure your rewards are credited.

  • Bridging is required before the deadline: November 5th, 2025.

  • After this date, rewards from the old staking program will start to be distributed gradually over 180 days.

  • Claiming rewards will require manual requests from your side on the HUB.
